Getting Started
Installation / Upgrade
- Double-click the “pyxis.exe” icon
- You will be prompted to select your language
- The destination dialogue will appear
- Click “Browse” select your boot drive (usually C:\ )
- If you have a previous version of pyxis exists, you will be prompted to select from the following:
- Install New
- Upgrade existing Database
- Upgrade existing Database and Models
- Click “Next” pyxis will install
- When install has completed (about 90 secs.) Click close
Obtain / Apply License
- Navigate to your pyxis install directory
- Open “bin” folder
- Run “echoid.exe”
- Copy resulting codes and send to support@ogresystems.com and wait for license file to be returned
- When license file is returned copy file (lservrc) with no file extension, to the “bin” folder
Running pyxis
- Select Start > Program Files > pyxis > Asset Manager
- You will be prompted for the database to connect to
- Note: After first installation / Upgrade, pyxis will take longer to locate your license file than usual.
